Thank you! Yes, my youngest has very noisy meltdowns sometimes, and I have to rush him to the other side of the apartment. They get less and less frequent as he is growing, which is good. My oldest, who is also autistic, has panic attacks, also less frequently, and a man yelling and banging on our wall is really triggering to those. He just seems to be one of those people who the world revolves around. Like I said in the article, his girlfiend lived there alone for quite awhile, and she never complained. I told the kids to try and whisper late at night and not to stomp or slam doors, and she would reenforce that by telling my kids what great neighbors they were. I miss having a neighbor I get along with, but it kind of bums me out that she doesn't just come over and say, "My boyfriend gets grumpy when the kids are doing xyz, and I don't want him to be a jerk to them, so could you try and keep them from doing that?" I would so rather hear the direct approach instead of this dumbm, passive agressive crap!
