Open Letter to my Asshole Neighbor, The Sequel
You still suck.
Hey Neighbor,
How’s it going? Just kidding, I don’t care.
Quick question: you’re one of those people where I can’t tell; Are you oblivious to your actions, unaware of how they affect others? Or, are you that other type of person? Super aware and gleefully happy about the misery you impose?
Let’s think back, shall we? Remember how you obtained that parking spot of yours? It’s OK if you can’t remember, I’ll refresh you. You moved in and kept parking your pickup right in front of the mailbox. I missed a couple really important pieces of mail (the worst being a check that I needed to cover the last of the month’s groceries for my kids) so I offered you the driveway in front of my garage?
Did I want to do that? Of course not. But I’m not a confrontational person and I avoid bullshit at all cost. If my parking spot buys me drama-free access to my mailbox when I need it, then so be it.
Only you didn’t stop blocking the mailbox, did you? You parked your stupid boat there, parked wherever you wanted and kept me guessing what days I would and would not get my mail. Checks, birthday cards for my kids, insurance cards, replacement debit cards. You know, the stuff you want to get on time.
