An Open Letter to Ben Shapiro’s Sister: WTF

Dear “Classically” Abby,

Let me be transparent from the jump: I disagree with pretty much everything you say. Most of my disagreements don’t move to write open letters, though. Your recent YouTube video, “Classically Abby Reacts-My Husband Wants Kids, I Don’t,” was just insane.

The woman whose Reddit query you’re talking about is type 1 diabetic, bipolar, and has cancer on both sides of her family. She says she’s afraid she couldn’t handle the responsibility of taking care of anyone else, since she often struggles to take care of herself. She just doesn’t want kids. Her husband can’t put into words why he wants kids, but he’s very family oriented and wants to pass him name on. What you tell this woman is totally insane.

Your crazy starts off strong by telling this woman, who wants advice on what to say to her husband, and how not to lose him, that she needs to evaluate why she doesn’t want kids. First off, no. That is not what she’s looking for. She isn’t looking for someone to push being a mom on her. Second, she already said why: her health conditions, not feeling capable…
